Welcome to Colorado-appealsblog.com! I started this blog for a number of reasons. Mainly, I found I got sick of having a stack of new cases to read piling up on the corner of my desk. I figured if I did this blog, I'd have to read the cases when they came down, and not during the World Series, while taking my kids trick-or-treating or walking the dog. The purpose of this blog is simple and relatively unambitious--to provide a timely update on decisions, orders, and other news from the Colorado Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. My hope is you will look to this blog to find out about new cases of interest coming out of those courts. As for me, well, I'm kind of an appellate nerd, so I find many seemingly uninteresting cases fascinating. We'll see how this works. I think it'll be fun.
